Communications expertise and creative strategy to make your editorial vision come to life

Meet Christina

I’m a communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in editorial strategy, executive communications, journalism and public relations. For over a decade I’ve worked in higher education—specifically in academic medicine—serving as Director of Communications for medical, scientific, and public health departments at a public university, where my work has focused on translating complex research, clinical, and public health topics into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences.

My journalism background informs a thoughtful, strategic approach to storytelling and communications planning and outreach. I enjoy collaborating with faculty, researchers, and organizational leaders to develop professional, authentic messaging that aligns with their goals and values. At the core of my work is a commitment to building stories that resonate, strengthen credibility, and make complex ideas accessible.

I’ve lived on both coasts and abroad, in both large cities and smaller communities--experiences that continue to shape my curiosity and appreciation for hearing and telling people’s stories. My communications experience spans legal, business, scientific, and medical fields, allowing me to adapt my approach across disciplines and audiences.
